About the Building
The lane between nos 68 & 69 leads to 7 Corners partly along the ditch of the Town Wall. (excavations by Abergavenny Archaeology Society)
Narrow buildings against the town wall, once the workshops of George Harris, cabinet maker and Boer War soldier, then Witcherly, painter & Hooper, plumber.
Early nineteenth century frontage with no evidence of older fabric and is possibly rebuilt.May have been built together with no 69 but the windows have slightly different spaces bewteen them. Twentieth century shop front.
