The change in the street name implies that North Gate stood here at Nos. 1-3 Frogmore Street and a blue plaque on the wall of the bank commemorates this fact.[ALHS Survey 1980]

2014: The property was sold at auction on 20th May with a guide price of 295,000. The property was described as a Freehold shop investment  being arranged over a basement with ground and two upper floors providing a shop with ancillary upper parts. 1987: New Shop Front approved for Greggs Bakery [Source: MCC Planning Ref: Nos. 27935   Alt. Ref: DC/1987/00731].

1913  In the 7th May 1913 edition of the Western Mail there was a report posted by James Straker & Son about an auction at the Greyhound Hotel which had included this property. The property was described as a shop premises with a frontage of 15ft and a depth of 38ft and a showroom at the rear with a depth of 14ft.6in. At the time, the property was occupied by Messrs. c2008/9: Greggs moved to 22 High Street [Source: High Street – ALHS Survey 1980+]

2003: There was a newspaper report that thieves had broken into Greggs in Frogmore Street on Friday 31st January by forcing a rear fire door and breaking open a till. A sum of £5 in cash was stolen together with several packets of crisps.

2000: New Hanging Sign approved for Greggs [MCC Planning Ref: M0477 Alt. Ref: DC/2000/00151 March 2000].
