About the Building

Evidence at the base of the side door ramp of raising of the roadway level.

Note the Victorian cement decorative window surrounds. (L Hurley). The old roof timbers in larch would probably supported a roof of stone tiles diminishing in size towards the ridge.

A photo taken around 1889 does not show the decoration on the window. There was a similar decoration on 64 Frogmore Street.
