Previously the King David Inn. In August 1897, the pub was offered for sale by auction: on the ground floor, bar, smoke room, tap room, kitchen, scullery, and larder; on the First Floor, Sitting Room and One Bedroom, and on the Second Floor, Landing and Two Bedrooms. At the rear are Yard and Brewhouse…..with stabling for about Twenty Horses ….
